THE MAIN SUBJECT AREAS OF THE DIRECTORATE INCLUDE

  1. General services (utilities, office and Residential accommodation, security, supervision of transport and logistics, procurement, registry management, assets management, supervision of stores etc)
  2. Finance (Accounting, Annual Estimates etc)
  3. Management of personnel of the directorate

 

 

THE MAIN OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DIRECTORATE ARE TO FORMULATE POLICIES, MONITOR AND EVALUATE THEM, WITH THE AIM OF ACHIEVING THE FOLLOWING:

  1. Ensuring the effective functioning of the sector for the achievement of its goals
  2. Ensuring  the availability of services and facilities necessary to support the administrative and other functions of the sector
  3. Designing and maintaining a system for monitoring and evaluation of the progress of the procurement plan with the view of eliminating wastes and reducing irregularities
  4. Dealing with job allocation, staff appraisals, productivity improvement of the Directorate
  5. Safeguarding the interest of the Directorate/Sector in all financial transactions relating to its budget, revenue and expenditure
  6. Advising on major issues relating to the Directorate
