Hon. Dorcas Toffey is a distinguished Ghanaian legislator, entrepreneur, and public servant who currently serves as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region of Ghana.

Honorable Toffey has a wealth of experience in leadership, business, and international engagement, underpinned by a strong commitment to national development and inclusive governance.

Since entering Parliament, Hon. Toffey has made significant contributions through her work on several key committees. She has served diligently on the Committee on Trade and Industry, Lands and Natural Resources, Gender, Children and Social Protection, Government Assurances, and Population Caucus.

Her committee roles reflect her dedication to social equity, accountability, environmental stewardship, and sustainable resource management. She is particularly passionate about improving conditions for women, youth, and marginalized communities through effective legislation and oversight.

Hon. Toffey is academically accomplished, holding a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Marketing from Knutsford University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Accra Business School, and a Master of Science (MSc) in Energy and Sustainability Management, jointly awarded by Regent University and the Universidad Catolica de Mursia (UCAM), Spain

Her academic background reflects a unique blend of business acumen and sustainability expertise, which she brings to bear in both policymaking and project implementation in the transport sector.

Prior to her political career, Hon. Toffey had a thriving career in business in both Ghana and particularly the United States. She founded Topeka Properties, a real estate company, and Kids Smile Inc. Day Care Centre, all in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Her entrepreneurial ventures span real estate, education, and logistics, and have empowered many young people through job creation and mentorship.

Her international exposure, particularly her years of leadership and community engagement abroad, has given her a global perspective that she seamlessly integrates into her public service delivery at home.

Hon. Dorcas Toffey is known for her empathetic and people-centered leadership. Her work in Parliament and the Ministry is inspired by her deep connection to the grassroots and her belief in equitable access to opportunity for every Ghanaian. She continues to be a role model for women in politics and a passionate advocate for inclusive and sustainable national development.

She has a deep sense of family orientation and has three children.
