Hon. Joseph Bukari Nikpe, Minister, has officially introduced the Ministry’s new Chief Director, Mr. William Kartey, to staff during a durbar held last Friday.

In formally welcoming Mr. Kartey, the Minister urged all staff members to extend the same high level of support and cooperation they offered to the former Chief Director, Mrs. Mabel Sagoe. This collective effort, he noted, is essential to ensure the Ministry continues to advance its goals.

He emphasized the paramount importance of unity among the workforce, recognizing staff as the “permanent family” critical to delivering efficient transport services for Ghana.

On his part, Mr. William Kartey expressed his pleasure in joining the Ministry and appealed for mutual respect and support among staff to effectively achieve the Ministry’s mandate.

The durbar concluded with an open session where staff raised welfare and operational matters. The Minister affirmed his commitment to addressing these issues, stating, “We will solve these issues to a good percentage that will bring happiness to our workforce.”
